pectin from sweet potato residue is recovered to 13.4%

Yesterday, there was good news from our company labarory that pectin from waste residue of sweet potato is up to 13.4% from 1.8%. That is to say, each seven and a half  tons residue will bring one ton pectin  with purity up to 70%.
The recovery rate of fiber for food and drugs is even high.
The  RMB1000  value of sweet potato residue  is rising to RMB 300,000 value of  food or pharmaceutical additive.

Besides, we have  succeeded in getting pectin from water melon, banana, citrus peel, orange, etc.
